Opus Bank’s Public Finance division provides $7.88 Million in General Obligation Bond Refinancing
Overview of Transaction
The Public Hospital District No. 1 of Chelan County (“District”), doing business as Cascade Medical Center, was formed in 1965 and operates a 9-bed acute care hospital and a medical clinic in Leavenworth, WA.
The District serves a population of over 10,000 residents, visitors, and businesses in western portion of the County.
Significance of Transaction
Opus Bank worked closely with the District’s staff and financing team to refinance the District’s Unlimited Tax General Obligation bonds, saving more than $1,000,000 for the local taxpayers over the next 13 years.
