Overview of Transaction
- The Public Hospital District No. 1 of Chelan County (“District”), doing business as Cascade Medical Center, was formed in 1965 and operates a 9-bed acute care hospital and a medical clinic in Leavenworth, WA.
- The District serves a population of over 10,000 residents, visitors, and businesses in western portion of the County.
Significance of Transaction
- Opus Bank worked closely with the District’s staff and financing team to refinance the District’s Unlimited Tax General Obligation bonds, saving more than $1,000,000 for the local taxpayers over the next 13 years.
