Case Study: Housing Hope
SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WASHINGTON
“BEING ABLE TO PURCHASE A HOME FEELS AWESOME!”
Shelter is one of life’s basic needs, yet it’s just a dream for many. Housing Hope helps dreams come true. They’re assisting families who need it most—and they’re making hope happen.
Founded in 1987, Housing Hope provides a wide range of housing opportunities, including emergency shelter and transitional housing to affordable rentals, and a unique homeownership effort called Team HomeBuilding, a program for low-income workers that lets people build their way to home ownership. A grant from the Opus Community Foundation offers hope—and a fresh start to low-income families in Snohomish County.
Housing Hope is making a difference by building a community where every individual, aspiring to be self-sufficient, has access to a safe, secure, and affordable home.
